Colour codes on the resistors indicate resistance values. We measured each of the resistors working out measurements using tables specifying the resistor colour codes and checking the measurements using a multi-meter.
Using two resistors on our breadboard with the meter in place to test their combined resistance we connected in series (R=R1+R2) and in parallel (1/R=1/R1+1/R2). We also tested this in series and worked out measurements with formula and tested these.
We are planning to make small devices for use with plants later. Tuco found this experiment particularly boring.As a learnt outcome, we won’t be buying electronics in bulk packets but rather by specific components.
