Prague's first art festival on the theme around artistic engagement with biotechnologies. The aim of TransGenesis is to show the close relation between scientific and artistic creativity, popularize new technologies and scientific discoveries and open the discussion on the relationship between biotechnologies and art. Some of the questions this festival hopes to address include; How artists perceive perspectives of a world where differences between codes and genes, technologies and biology dissolve? What new forms of life and art are emerging today? Up to what will lead the symbiosis of the organic and the an organic worlds and the interconnection of globalization, evolutionary and technological processes?
