I filmed this yesterday with a microscope (x100) to look at what a sewage ecology of bacteria looks like. I use these bacteria to degrade dye in the artwork Transient Images. Although, they all seem to be rod shaped - there appears to be slight differences in morphology and behaviour. I am quite impressed with their speed and movement.
