Hong Kong Electronics Fair

2006

The Hong Kong Electronics Fair is the biggest in Asia attracting over 2500 exhibitors from all over the world. The aim of this fair was to produce new connections between buyers and traders.  c-lab went to see if there were any new technological innovations that could be benefited in terms of art. Interestingly, in The Standard (HK), we find a commentary by Stephen Vines who describes the problem of producing creative talents in HK under the current government of Tsang which expect it to be available in a - press here for culture - manner. Here, creativity and culture becomes akin to Lego building. Also in our experience, in the heaven of electronics, creativity is certainly not at its notch.
